How Does It Work?

Your body creates both calcium and phosphate ions which are found in your saliva. These ions are your body’s way of defending your teeth from erosion; however, due to the acidity of modern day diets, less and less of these ions are able to occur naturally. We therefore need something to encourage our teeth to re-mineralise so that we are able to avoid tooth decay.

With this in mind, Arm & Hammer have developed Liquid Calcium to contain 8 times more calcium and phosphate ions than the amount found in saliva so it is able to replenish ion content in your mouth and subsequently re-mineralise and protect your teeth more efficiently. As its name suggests, Liquid Calcium is quite literally a soluble form of calcium.

With everyday wear and tear, cracks and crevices begin to develop on your teeth creating an uneven surface enamel and making them appear increasingly dull and discoloured.

By using Arm & Hammer’s Enamel Care and Enamel Care Sensitive, Liquid Calcium will be deposited directly on to your tooth surface, filling all the tiny crevices that form on your surface enamel, and binding to it.
